Non refundable confirmation deposit

A 50% deposit is required by no later than 48 hours to guarantee a reservation. The booking will automatically be released if above has not been received by the Guest House. Payment can be done by credit card online, EFT or cash deposit. Once transfer of funds has been actioned, please fax or e-mail through a copy of the deposit slip with the name of the organiser and the date of the reservation to either Hannetjie or Lana on +27 (44) 272 4843 / info@milesguesthouse.com.

In the event of premature departure we charge for the full original booking. Cancellation before date of arrival or no-show - visitor forfeits 100 % of deposit.

Check in/out times

Check-in is from 14h00 till late.
Checking-out is before 10h00.

Unless otherwise specifically agreed with the Guest House, these times should be strictly adhered to.

Breakfast

A full cooked as well as continental breakfast is served in our breakfast room between 07h00 and 09h00 at an additional nominal fee. Self-catering guest are more than welcome to request breakfast.

Pets

No pets allowed.

Smoking

No smoking in rooms – designated areas are available.

Indemnity

We will not be held responsible for theft or damage of any property of guests unless stated otherwise. Please refer to clauses below.

Vehicle theft/damage

We, by all means humanly possible, will take all precautions necessary on our behalf to ensure that vehicles are kept safe. It however, is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to ensure that their vehicle is safe, e.g. immobiliser / alarm, locking of vehicle, parking in designated areas and so forth.

Personal items theft/damage

We will by no means at all be held responsible for the personal property of guests in any degree whatsoever. The guests shall ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to ensure that their personal items are safe, e.g. carried with them or locked in safe provided.

Loss of Monies

We will by no means whatsoever be held responsible for the loss of monies by guests. The guests shall ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to ensure that their money is safe, e.g. carried with them or locked in safe provided.

Injuries

We will by no means be held responsible for any injuries that occurred on our premises unless due to clear negligence of staff or by the owner. The Miles Guest House management shall ensure that all necessary precautions are taken on their behalf to ensure that all safety precautions are in place and that all staff is trained fully and extensively.

General

Only cash accepted on premises.
